Jwalker

Jwalker started playing music when he was 9 years old. His father was a local Church Pastor and started bringing musical equipment home for his two son's to play. First it was guitar then after 6 months he was introduced to the bass guitar. 1 year later his father brought home the grand prize, a 61 key Fender Rhodes Piano. Using his knowledge of chord changes and bass-lines he began playing the rhodes with great skill. In his 1st year of practicing, J was blessed every weekend with love offerings at 2 churches playing keys. J Later moved to Texas where he met up with Oliver Scott, where he introduced J to recording. Honing his skills with Oliver, J shortly became general manager of Honey Bee Recording Studio, Houston, Tx. J played and produced on a number of independent CDs, including “Sound Doctrine”, “Dr. Carson and the Voices of Praise”, “Terry Jenkins Project”, “Triune Clique”,. J served as the Assistant Minister of Music at the One Way Church in Round Rock, Tx. Currently J serves as the Worship Leader at the Reflections of Christ Kingdom in Austin, Tx. Does freelance work at Lava Studios and plays keys and runs sound for a few local bands here in Austin, Tx.
